We understand that not all children will grow up to be sports stars, but we believe that all children can enjoy the benefits of participating in sport.

Every day we see examples of children having fun, growing in confidence, feeling valued and encouraged, and learning about themselves and the world around them.

We see young people developing leadership skills, building relationships of trust, tackling difficult challenges, learning about issues relevant to their lives and being encouraged to make positive choices about their future.

We hear from community volunteers and local partners who feel equipped to try new ways of relating to children and young people, understand more about the issues, fears and challenges that children face, and create child-friendly spaces where children feel valued, respected and able to express themselves.
