Our Story

The Kings Foundation is a UK registered charity that gets children active. Since 1991 we’ve provided high-quality activity camps for children, employment opportunities for young people, professional services to the leisure industry and training and resources for volunteers.

Based on this rich experience and expertise, we’ve developed a sports participation model that is highly inclusive and encourages all children to get involved, whatever their ability or affinity for sport.

We’ve been on an incredible journey as we’ve developed and refined our approach to training and equipping volunteers in disadvantaged communities to work with children and young people.

To date, Kings Volunteer has trained, equipped and encouraged local volunteers and partners in a range of countries in Africa, South America, Asia and the UK!

Hundreds of dedicated community volunteers and local partners are working with the Base Pack in really tough conditions, enriching the lives of thousands of children and young people each week – promoting their right to play, helping them to enjoy the benefits of sport and activity, and integrating health, education and Christian faith messages that are appropriate to their lives.
